La cultura MAME naci\u00f3 aqu\u00ed. Este patrimonio cultural florece junto con una incre\u00edble biodiversidad donde muchas de sus especies son end\u00e9micas y est\u00e1n amenazadas por las actividades humanas. El fuego es la principal amenaza de la reserva. Cada a\u00f1o, se pierden hect\u00e1reas de bosque debido a los incendios provocados.
