More than 89% of the world\u2019s student population<\/a> are mandated to stay away from schools and universities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But that doesn\u2019t mean they can\u2019t still develop great passion and knowledge about the world and nature.<\/p>\n

In March 2020, The Nature Conservancy and its 550 scientists launched Nature Lab<\/a>, a new online learning platform designed to help students experience nature and learn the science behind how nature works for us and how we can help protect it\u2014truly a way that we can work to ensure #NatureForAll!<\/p>\n

As schools around the world shut down in response to COVID-19, and families work to balance the demands on their time and energy, we know students will have very different learning experiences over the next few months. With our newly relaunched Nature Lab curriculum, The Nature Conservancy can offer families some support and open up new worlds for young people.<\/p>\n

A variety of age-appropriate courses are available for grades K-5<\/a>, 6-8<\/a> and 9-12<\/a>, plus bonus Virtual Field Trips<\/a> such as “The Secret Life of Corals,” “Borneo: The Symphony of the Rainforest” and more. Nature Lab features free curriculum and engaging videos that can be viewed on computers, tablets and smartphones.
