Meet Molly Cooperman

This excerpt is reposted here with permission from NatureKids BC.

Molly helps provide meaningful moments in nature for families in the Salmon Arm area through her involvement with NatureKids BC.

Molly grew up in the Shuswap area of British Columbia, Canada, and moved back here over ten years ago with her son.

“I feel connected to my community throughout the seasons. My almost daily walk takes me to our local forest and Salmon Arm Bay foreshore. I feel very fortunate to live here and enjoy exploring with a sense of wonder and curiosity. My past studies in Biology and Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria, and a sense of adventure coupled with my love for the outdoors, lead me to a career as an outdoor educator. I worked for Outward Bound in the past and now I am a WildBC facilitator for HCTF Education. I feel passionate about place-based education and connecting youth with nature in different ways.”
