These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of all official IUCN #NatureForAll platforms and tools.
By accessing, using, or uploading content to any of the #NatureForAll Platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Resources Covered by These Terms
These Terms apply to your use of all #NatureForAll digital platforms and resources (referred here collectively as Platforms) including:
- #NatureForAll Website (www.natureforall.global)
- #NatureForAll Esri StoryMap (coming) – a collection of global stories that highlight how people are connecting with nature
- #NatureForAll Discovery Zone – a curated library of educational and engagement tools for all ages
- Sounds of Your Park – an immersive, audio experience featuring the natural soundscapes of parks and protected areas from around the world
Acceptable Use
You agree to use all #NatureForAll resources responsibly and in alignment with our values. You must not:
- Use any of the Platforms to promote misinformation, hate speech, or discrimination.
- Upload unauthorized or infringing content.
- Misuse the name, logo, or tools of #NatureForAll for commercial gain without permission.
- Attempt to access or alter any part of the Platforms beyond intended public interaction.
- Reproduce, in any form, images or materials found on the Platforms without the explicit written permission of the copyright holder.
By contributing to the any of the #NatureForAll Platforms, you confirm that:
- You are authorized to share the content you submit (e.g., data, text, images, videos, audio recordings, etc.).
- Your submission complies with applicable copyright, privacy, and data protection laws.
- You will not upload content that is unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, or harmful to others.
Partner Contributions and Licensing
If you submit content (text, audio, video, or images) to any #NatureForAll resource:
- You retain all intellectual property rights in your submitted content.
- You grant IUCN #NatureForAll a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to share, display, and promote your content (with credit) for non-commercial conservation, educational, and storytelling purposes, including promotional use through digital and print media.
- You are responsible for securing rights for any third-party content included in your submission.
- You may request the removal of your content at any time by contacting #NatureForAll.
Intellectual Property
All original content across #NatureForAll Platforms is protected by copyright and belongs to #NatureForAll or contributing partners unless otherwise indicated.
You may:
- Use resources for educational or non-commercial purposes with attribution.
You may not:
- Copy, alter, or distribute materials for commercial purposes without written permission.
Data Integrity and Accuracy
- Contributors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the data they submit.
- The administrators of the Platforms reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any content that is deemed inaccurate, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the values of #NatureForAll or IUCN.
Privacy and Data Use
What We May Collect
- Personal information (e.g., name, email)
- Usage data (e.g., clicks, navigation patterns) to improve content and functionality
How We Use It
- To communicate with you
- To improve the Platforms and measure impact
- To feature relevant stories, events, or tools
We will never sell your data or share it without your consent unless required by law.
If you use forms on the Website to provide information or register partners. The information you provide is not retained on the public web server and will not be used for purposes other than that for which it was provided.
External Links and Third-Party Tools
#NatureForAll resources may include links to third-party sites or embedded tools (e.g., Esri, SoundCloud, YouTube). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these Platforms.
Community Guidelines
We ask all users and contributors to:
- Be respectful, inclusive, and constructive
- Share accurate, nature-positive stories and information
- Avoid inappropriate or harmful language or media
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these principles.
Limitation of Liability
- The Platforms and their content are provided on an “as-is” basis. IUCN and #NatureForAll make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content on the Platforms.
- IUCN and #NatureForAll are not liable for any damages or losses arising from the use or misuse of content submitted to the Platforms.
- #NatureForAll is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on external websites.
Use of Cookies
- The #NatureForAll Website use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
