Pratyaee Bhattacharyya, a geography student of Shri Shikshayatan College, was just a child when she visited the Khairbari Leopard Rescue Center and fell in love with nature, forests and leopards. She is now involved as a Student Member with WildRoots in their Citizen Science Programme.
Ace veteran artist Krishna De from Kolkata, India, is an alumnus of the Government College of Art & Craft in India. She has been recognized by various nature and conservation organizations like WildRoots as a “Nature Artist who inspires young people to identify themselves with Nature and the Wilderness”.

Saloni Sawant has recently completed her Bachelors in Zoology and Botany from St.Xavier’s College, Mumbai. From a very young age, she was fascinated with the natural world and her allure for wildlife paved the way for her interest in wildlife photography. When she is not studying or documenting animals, one can find her lazing on trees and trying to befriend cats.
Janet Kavutha is a nature enthusiast and a lover of art. She holds a degree in Integrated Forestry Resource Management from Egerton University and a professional training in GIS and mapping. Janet recently joined the team of the Giraffe Conservation Foundation as a Programme Officer in Kenya, where she strives to increase the range of giraffe by working with partners and promoting community-based conservation.
Sai Devi is the Founder of Thicket Tales. Growing up with an abundant backyard, she always had mother nature and the art of nature appreciation to fall back during difficult times. With a changing and busy lifestyle, she believes nature appreciation could be a secret ingredient to bring families and friends together. With that as her mission, she started Thicket Tales. When not working, she is found lost in the world of books and food, or rather digging something in her backyard!
